So much to be grateful for-
This was our first Thanksgiving on the New Homestead
We woke up to the arrival of the Rains after many Moons-
The crisp blue of the sky against the TopaTopa red Mountains
In the early Light of the mornin
The plants in the garden were beaming with Vibrancy
The land felt soft and moist under our Bare Feet
We gathered our first egg from the Aricana Hens
Green with a few streaks of blood on the side from the birth of her first
Enjoying the bounty of this Sacred Valley of the Moon
As the darkness arrived
We gathered round the Fire
Offering thanks to the Ancestors
In Remembrance of the Ancient Ways
Praying
Singing
Listening
Thank you Pachamama
Thank you Grandfather Fire
Thank you Sage and Sacred Plants
Thank you Wisdom Keepers
Thank you Chumash and those who lived here before
Thank you
Thank you
I love you
Please Forgive me
I’m sorry
We are grateful
To all my Relations
I love you
